Starting point

Cheshire
WA4 6RN

After leaving The Stag car park we pass Walton Gardens and cross over the Bridgewater Canal. A steady climb to Hatton Village is rewarded with a downhill section through country lanes and the picture postcard village of Higher Whitley. Our destination is finally gained on narrow single track roads, passing splendid Georgian houses and wide open fields, with views across Cheshire toward the distant hills of the Peak District.
Our return is a retrace of the outward journey and from Hatton we are rewarded with a long descent back to out original start point.
