A ride of about 24 miles from Antrobus Loaf taking in the blue plaques of Warrington and returning to Antrobus.

Having left the Loaf, we travel out of Antrobus towards High Legh, crossing the A50 and following the road into Lymm centre. We pass Lymm Dam and then take back roads past Thelwall and the cobbles of Grappenhall, along the Ship Canal to Latchford. From there we head into Warrington for the plaques, skirt Howley and return to Stockton Heath for lunch and our return. We will take in Appleton, Appleton Thorn and Arley straight back towards Antrobus.

The ride is on a mixture of cycle paths, quiet country lanes, and some busier roads.

We will ride at an easy pace of about 10-11mph with short stops along the route, and will make sure that no one is left behind.

You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and a lock. Please bring money for coffee breaks and lunch, or your own drinks and snacks, if required
