Having left the tea room, we travel out of Antrobus towards High Legh. We turn East towards Knutsford, cross the old Chester Road at Bucklow Hilland then follwo Cicely Mill Lane and Rostherne Lane to the back entrance of Tatton Park. We’ll have a beautiful ride through the park and head into Knutsford for lunch at the Tea Room.
After lunch we’ll return, taking Tabley Hill Lane, Budworth Road and Budworth Heath Lane all the time skirting Great Budworth (and the ice cream farm). We head back on Knutsford Road towards Antrobus

A longer ride of 23.8 miles from Antrobus Village hall out through High Legh to Mere and the back entrance to Tatton Park, stopping at The Tea Room in Knutsford for lunch, riding back through Over Tabley, Pickmere and Budworth Heath to Antrobus.

This is a new series of rides, alternating long and short called Home and Away RIdes. • Home rides are shorter and the group will be back in time for tea and cakes at the Antrobus tea room. These tend to be on quiet roads designed for people new to or returning to cycling. • Away rides are longer and will include getting food at a café during the ride. These longer routes on a mix of roads are for cyclists who are up for more of a distance challenge! We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph, and make sure that no one is left behind. On both types of ride, there will be short stops along the route. You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump and a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit. You might want to bring a lock as well. Please bring your own drinks and snacks, if required.

We never leave anyone behind
