Antrobus Cyclists – Country roads – tea at Antrobus Tea Room

A ride of about 20 miles from Antrobus Village hall out and back returning to Antrobus to have tea/cake at the Tea Room in Antrobus. The ride is on a mixture of cycle paths, quiet country lanes, and some busier roads.

Having left the tea room, we travel out of Antrobus towards Comberbach, and then through Marbury Country Park and Northwich. We’ll cross the A500 at using Shipbrook Road and following the road into Lach Dennis. From there we return via Lostock Green, Lostock Gralam, Wincham and Pickmere back towards Antrobus.

We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph with short stops along the route, and make sure that no one is left behind.

You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and a lock. Please bring money for coffee breaks and lunch or your own drinks and snacks, if required.
