We set out from the café and head out to the Arley straight and into Appleton Thorn. We then follow Stretton Road, cross London Road at the traffic lights and take Hatton Lane until we meet Pillmoss Lane. We cross the M56, and, being extra careful, cross the A49 onto Limes Lane. We return to Antrobus via School Lane, crossing the A559 at the Birch and Bottle and following Foggs Lane and Knutsford Road and return to the Village Hall.

Route rating

5 stars (1) Reviews

This is a nice short ride of 10 miles which is largely flat and takes us down out of Antrobus, down the Arley straight into Appleton Thorn, then to Stetton and Hatton and back through Whitley and along the lanes of Antrobus.

This is a short route on quiet roads designed for people new to or returning to cycling!

We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph, and make sure that no one is left behind. There will be short stops along the route. At the end of the ride, we can have home-made and well-earned refreshments at the Antrobus Village Tea Room!

You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump and a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit. You might want to bring a lock as well. Please bring your own drinks and snacks, if required, or money for the tea room refreshments.

We never leave anyone behind
