A pleasant 18 mile loop around our local villages. Some small climbs along the way but the downhill rewards are worth it

All B roads and country lanes, a few narrow lanes with passing places

The peleton can stop at the shop in Uffington to buy drinks and snacks but the intention is to get back to Shrivenham for about 5pm for Wood Fired Pizzas at the Crown

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. Please bring a face mask; you have to wear it on entering a café and in the event of first aid being required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the stop. Some places only take card payments.

We welcome new comers to the group and we want you to enjoy the ride so please check the route and elevation and be sure you are happy riding around 11 mph for two hours
