Anglers Country Park "Entry" Cycle Ride. This is a guided cycle ride using our fully trained ride leaders and takes place on the first Sunday in the month. We meet in front of Squires Tea Rooms/Discovery Centre at 10:15am for a 10:30am start. The centre can be found within Anglers Country Park, Haw Park Lane, Wintersett, WF4 2EB. Our forum rides do not require advanced booking, simply turn up and go. This cycle ride is our "Entry" level ride (approximately 2-5 miles) ideal for absolute beginners and families. The route is locally around the Anglers Country Park area, with no roads or hills to climb. Please allow 1 hour. Parking is free at Anglers. The pace is set by our steadiest rider and we never leave anyone behind on any of our rides. Everyone's welcome to join our cycle rides. We are a voluntary organisation and all our rides are free of charge to join and we look forward to meeting you. We have a limited number of bikes that can be borrowed free of charge.
