The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our “easy” cycle ride from Anglers Country Park. Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Easy rides are great for all abilities and ages, taking place along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. Come and join us for a hour or two around Anglers Lake & Haw Park Woods. Just the thing to get you out on your bike on a Sunday morning with good company. This cycle ride is ideal if you are new to cycling, its not too demanding. We cover around 5 miles at an easy pace. You will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. We use traffic free routes and some quiet roads. Most rides are best suited to Hybrid or Mountain Bikes. Road bikes are not recommended. Our easy rides are ideal for families, beginners and those wanting to increase their confidence. We will always go at a pace to suit the steadiest riders. You will be in safe hands. Under 16s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow.
