The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our "Challenging" cycle ride from Anglers Country Park. This event takes place every forth Sunday in the month and is approximately 30 miles, but during April and August, the Wakefield Wheel is used, which is 38 miles. You should be of a good level of fitness with some cycling experience to join in this cycle ride. Under 16's or inexperienced riders should not attend the ride. Please allow approx 3 hours for this ride. We welcome any riders who have not been with us before and you will find us a friendly bunch. This cycle ride is best suited for Hybrid or Mountain Bikes, but on some occasions an all-road route is used. You will need to confirm before the ride if you wish to use a road bike. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow. There is no charge but bikes must be booked in advance by email: [email protected] Meet outside of Visitors Centre/Squires Tea Room at 10:15am, for a 10:30am start.
