An evening cruise to Carrs

From County Hall car park we will cycle on cycle path through Aykley Heads and in to Newton Hall, where we will cross the main road to pick up the lane to Carr Nature Reserve.
Here we will dismount to discover the delights of the Nature Reserve before pedalling on towards New Colleges back roads and the possibility of a pub stop at the end of the ride.

We will be stopping at Aykley Heads and Carr Nature reserve to enjoy the high and low ruderal as well as the cycle paths created through these reserves with expert guiding from ecology superstar, Julia

It’s evening so it may be cold, warm base layers are recommended and we will be walking so footwear suitable would also be useful. We always recommend helmets, and it would be great if you could bring along a spare inner tube and tyre levers just in case.
