Start of Loxley Road (just beyond where the bus stop used to be). Coming from the direction of Holme Lane, the start point is at the entrance to a bridleway on the left hand side of Loxley Road, shortly after the pedestrian crossing/traffic lights.

Heading out from our usual meeting point at the start of Loxley Road, we will climb steadily towards Dam Flask past the Admiral Rodney Inn, and take the left turn across the dam wall towards Low Bradfield, From here we will head through the village towards the steady climb up Blindside Lane, where we turn right at the top onto Sugworth Road. At the junction at the end of Sugworth Road we turn right again onto Mortimer Road passing the Strines Inn in a short while. From there we have several options for heading back towards Bradfield depending on how we are doing for time, to ensure we get back to our start point for no later than 9.15 am. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary.
