The ride will go via West Watford, Chesham, Amersham and Rickmansworth

The is will be quite a hill route as we head out through west Watford, Sarrett, Flaunden and Chesham. It is generally a lumpy ride with one steep descent and ascent at Ley Hill but the pace will be easy to allow for that. From there head to Chesham to regain height using Fullers Hill. From there onto Amersham. The ride home will be shorter and faster as there is a good deal of downhill to Rickmansworth. From there we pass through Moor Park and Northwood to return to Harrow Park. The museum opens at 11 a.m. The intention was to have elevenses there, but if we make good time to Chesham we may stop there instead.

Quieter roads generally with country lanes when beyond Watford.

Either Chesham or Amersham for 11's

Please wear a helmet. Bring puncture repair tools and spare inner tubes. The sun will be quite warm particualry in sheltered s[pots but an easterly wind will hold temperatures down. Multi light layers that can easily be adjusted are best at this time of year

We never leave anyone behind
