Meeting in the car park adjacent to the Waterside Cafe building, we shall head along the river cycle path towards Derby City. We leave the path at North Parade and follow the backroads over to Markeaton, following the cycle paths over to Mickleover Meadows and onto the Great Northern Greenway off of Station Road. We leave the GNGreenway onto Heage Road for a short cycle on the road to Fanny's. The return route is the reverse. 20 miles in total.

This is a 10 mile there & back ride to Fanny's Cafe/Farm Shop, Heage Rd, Etwell.

We shall be mostly following designated cycle paths and tracks.

Our halfway stop will be at Fanny's Cafe and Farm Shop on the outskirts of Etwell. Indoor and outdoor seating with toilet facilities.

Helmets are a must on this ride, a spare innertube/puncture kit, mobile phone and a facemask if you wish. Suitable clothing for changeable weather conditions during the ride, and something to carry any clothing you remove. Please ensure your bike is mechanically sound prior to arriving.
