Along the Stour to Stalls

This is an 18 miler but very easy terrain on familiar lanes and quiet roads. It will be a gentle ride for someone like me who needs to do a little recovery.
Apologies for the late posting, but arranging a funeral is quite pre-occupying and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Be that as it may … I’m hoping we’re not rained off, though the forecast for Saturday isn’t very marvellous. At least the air is a little warmer.
We’ll stop for coffee at the delightful Stalls Café and maybe Jill can join us from Stratford. Gently undulating is the gradient assessment, but on the home stretch (which is a little further) there are a couple of little ‘heart racers’. Don’t worry – we always wait for everyone to catch up at the tops of hills to get their breath back. No one is ever left behind alone.
Do check the forecast and come prepared for whatever it chooses to give us.
Give your bike a once over and make sure the chain is lubricated, the brakes work properly and the tyres are well pumped.
Remember to bring water with you and payment for your coffee.
