Allerton Linesway/St.Aidan's Loop

Meeting point at Samuel Valentine food hall, Station Road, Allerton Bywater. From this point we will ride through the estate to pick up the Allerton-Garforth Linesway. Riding off road, taking in picturesque countryside until we turn left to cross the main Great Preston road which leads us again off-road into the nearby, peaceful St.Aidan's nature reserve.where there is plenty of wildlife to take in. We do a small lap past 'Oddball' and cross the North & South Ings where we turn left onto the 697 cycleway, which we follow until we turn off back up a track and re-trace onto the Linesway for a short ride back through the estate to our starting point at the food hall/cafe for a well deserved drink/cake if you choose to do so. Please bring a bottle if needed, a lock for outside the cafe and some money for the cafe if staying.
