Workington

A leisurely cycle through the heart of workington from the leisure centre out towards Siddick Ponds Nature Reserve and Dunmail Park.  This route follows the Hadrian Cycleway from the outskirts of Workington and across the River Derwent before heading up to Siddick Ponds and views across the nature reserve.  This 5 mile route is ideal for anybody wanting a gentle ride predominately on traffic free paths.

This route has been British Cycling assessed as an accessible route, meaning it is suitable for the majority of adaptive bikes. The route will have no or low levels of traffic, there will be plenty of space and will have a good surface throughout.
