All Terrain's All Terrain

Following on from the Lady Salts Saunter Breeze Ride (see 08/04/12) this ride is again starting from outside All Terrain Cycles.  The cycle shop will be launching its re furbished showroom over the Easter period and is also supportive of the Breeze Network and its work to get more women on their bikes. Please do not be put off by the name, you will not be riding over technical terrain or jumping off big rocks!!!! but the ride will involve different types of easy terrain. The ride as mentioned will start from outside the cycle shop and there is a large car park before the entrance to Salts Mill.  From the shop we will make our way into Roberts Park and take the path that runs parallel to the River Aire (Tarmac) once past the cricket pavilion we will hit our next terrain (Grass) over some fields towards the Rowing Club, if the grass is too long or very wet we can take an alternative route. Once at the Rowing Club we then hit our next terrain (Unmade road) with a short ride up to Higher Coach Road, before riding back along this (Tarmac) back into the park. For those who want a little more distance then a loop of the park is available, for the others we will head straight back to All Terrain Cycles and the finish. If you fancy some refreshments after the ride then there is the Half Moon Cafe in Roberts park or the cafe in Salts Mill where you can refuel.
