From there we will cycle to Hopetown Museum (free entry) to enjoy this lovely little museum and celebrate Rail200.
Trains to Bishop Auckland can be boarded adjacent to the Museum at .57 every hour and we intend to use these to travel onward to Bishop Auckland, where will use these Bishop-Brandon rail line to return to Durham.

Train to Darlington, short ride on road to Hopetown Museum, train to Bishop Auckland then railway line back to Durham.
We will be having lunch at Hopetown Museum
If you would like to use the train to arrive at Darlington please let me know and bear in mind that you may need to hang your bike from hooks for onboard storage. Otherwise drinks, snacks, money for train tickets and lunch and ideally a spare inner tube suitable for your bike wheel size.
