Starting from Leverhulme Park we head towards Bury via the canal and make our way to Gigg via the Roch Valley Greenway. After crossing the River Roch we will make our way South to Heaton Park before heading West to Alkrington Wood. From Middleton we head north to loop back to Heaton Park were there is a planned cafe stop. We will get back to Bolton via the Outwood trail. The route may well be quite muddy in sections and whilst most of it is along cycle paths there are some unavoidable sections on busy roads. Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and money for the café stop.
