Start at Clapham Junction Station on the North Side Exit (after platform 1), just outside the ticket hall. We will meander on quiet streets and cycle routes up to Battersea Park, and then over the beautiful Albert Bridge, and through the back routes to Hyde Park. We will cycle along the Serpentine cycle route, passing the Princess Diana fountain and crossing into Kensington Gardens where we can see the impressive Albert Statue outside the Albert Hall. We will leave Kensington Gardens and use quiet routes to wiggle home via the famous Brompton Cemetery - used in many films and photo shoots. Back over Wandsworth Bridge cycle route and we will finish back at Clapham Junction Station, for a well deserved coffee and chat for those that have time We will pass toilets in the parks at about half way and we will go at a gentle pace and stop for a photo or two on the way, on this social ride. Please bring a drink and a snack, and ensure your bike is ... Whole route is 12 miles and should take about 1:30 hrs / 2 hrs max depending on stops. We will stop at the end for tea for those that have time. Suitable for road/hybrid/cross.
