PLEASE NOTE - Age well on wheels is a bike ride for the over 50s
The ride is generally on quiet roads through parks or on cycle paths wherever possible.
The ride starts at Eastcote library, passing through the Cavendish Recreation Ground, on to South Ruislip Station then passing the Polish War Memorial. Then along Sharval Lane with a good view of Norholt Aerodrome, into a wooded area and along Charvile Lane from where we work our way back to the cycle path on the A40.
Next we cycle across a small bridge through a wooded area, then onto Swakeleys Park. We stop for lunch at the Ickenham Pump, where there are a number of local cafés and pubs. Then we meander back through Ruislip, Old Eastcote and Eastcote House grounds.
We cover approx 11miles, mostly on the flat. There is car parking available in the Eastcote area some free, some pay and display. Looking forward to seeing you on the day.
