This is an afternoon ride to spend a social hour at The Case is Altered pub in Eastcote. We will use mostly quiet roads but there are a couple of short, busier stretches. We’ve thrown in a little bit of climbing and, if it’s dry, a short off-road trail. This is very ridable but a bit bumpy in places. We’ll be travelling at a modest pace (8-10 mph).

We will use mostly quiet roads but there are a couple of short, busier stretches. We’ve thrown in a little bit of climbing and, if it’s dry, a short off-road trail. This is very ridable but a bit bumpy in places. We’ll be travelling at a modest pace (8-10 mph).

Please note that the pub does not take cash. If anyone lives closer to Eastcote and would like to meet us there, we aim to arrive by 2pm and depart at about 3pm.

Check your bike before the ride, paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Use this guide: https://lcc.org.uk/advice/bike-safety-check/. Bring a spare innertube, a pump and tools to fix a puncture. Dress appropriately for the conditions. A helmet would be good and a strong lock is essential if we have to sit inside (weather dependent).

First-timers welcome!
