Come and join us for a steady Friday evening ride around the trails of Forest Heath and clear out those work related cobwebs from the week.

This is primarily a social ride with a planned average speed of around 7-9 mph and we will keep to the pace of our slowest riders.

There is nothing technical along this route and no specific skills or mountain bike related equipment are needed in order to take part and enjoy this ride. Suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes or hybrids with off-road tyres, the entire route is made up of unpaved surfaces, varying from dirt trail to fire road and is completely traffic free.

I ask that you ensure your bike is in a trail-worthy condition before arriving. Please bring with you a spare inner-tube, pump (or CO2 canisters) and tyre levers in case of any unforeseen tyre related issues. I also ask that you wear a helmet and have appropriate clothing for the activity/weather, as well as to bring a drink along to have while you're out on the trails.

The entire route is on unpaved gravel and forest trail surfaces so mtb/hybrid off-road/gravel tyres are recommended

There are plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery along the route while having a break and a drink.

We especially welcome newbies!
