Starting from - Port Penrhyn, Bangor - turn left from the main road down towards the port, and then left again, cross over the bridge and follow the road to the left. Park in the car park on the right (no charge). The entrance to the cycle track is visible behind you if you are looking out to sea, but we will meet in the car park. LL57 4HN

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

A gentle 'there and back' route along the cycle path to the Pant Yr Ardd pub in Tregarth, starting at Port Penrhyn in Bangor - perfect for a summer evening. Almost all on the cycle track which is along an old railway line, with just a couple of hundred metres on the road to the pub in Tregarth where we will stop for about half an hour - bring some money if you want to buy a drink, hopefully we can sit in the beer garden as the forecast is good. It is slightly up hill on the way there and therefore slightly downhill on the way back, but is a gentle ride suitable for most and we will go at the pace of the slowest rider. It's a good idea to bring a spare inner tube (but not essential). Please arrive by 5.20pm for a pre-ride bike check and quick warm up.
