Leicestershire
LE1 6SA

This is a ride with a difference. We will visit five significant locations in the life of Sue Townsend who was the best selling UK author, bar none, of the 1980s. We'll swing by the David Wilson Library on the University of Leicester campus and see manuscripts and letters associated with Adrian's origins. We hope to meet Sue's ex milkman - he delivered to her doorstep at the time that she was beginning to find her feet as a writer. We will find out what was important to her and share some of our favourite passages from the books. Sue died in 2014 having lived all her life in Leicester. We won't now be able to find out about Adrian's mid-life crisis. But we can be sure that he is having one!
