Bridgwater

Come and try this gentle route across the Somerset Levels that starts and finishes at a lovely canal side pub.  You will meander along canal towpaths, quiet country lanes and riverside cycle paths exploring the waterways and woodland.  The route will take you out across the levels to Burrow Bridge, where you can have a quick rest stop at the King Alfred Pub.  From here you start by following the river Parrett back before you break off and continue your way back to Bridgwater along the quiet back roads.

Please note - The route is mostly Tarmac roads but there are sections of cycle path and towpath which are slightly loose and uneven.
