Across the cricket pitch

Leaving Great Bowden behind us we'll cross the canal twice before turning off and heading towards, nut not into, Mowsely. From there we cycle through the tiny village of Laughton and then ride the lovely rode that takes us into Gumley via the cricket pitch where we may be asked to wait if they are playing!. We then retrace our steps and return to Bowden.

Glorious views and a ride right across a village cricket pitch!

We ride on quiet country roads with little traffic.

We'll stop for breathers along the way and there's also the opportunity for a cafe stop at the end of the ride.

You must wear a helmet please and it's also a good idea to bring a bottle of water and a spare inner tube just in case!

New and returning riders are particularly welcome. We ride at a gentle pace, chatting as we go and we never leave anyone to struggle on their own.
