The View Tube, The Greenway, Marshgate Lane, London (ride details and route are at http://goo.gl/XNH3Ud )
Meet at the View Tube to join our legendary ride to a legendary place. This is our route: https://goo.gl/MCykHH . We will follow canal towpaths for 15 miles out to the Ace Cafe in West London. We first cross the Lee River into Victoria Park and then follow the Regent's Canal to King's Cross. We then take a route through Camden Town which takes us into Regent's Park where we join the canal again and cycle out to Little Venice. We then follow the Grand Union Canal towpath out to a bicycle bridge which allows us to cross over the North Circular so that we can stop off at the Ace Cafe for a meal. We then cycle back along the canal to Willesden Junction, where the ride finishes and we can use the Overground to return. This ride used to be a favourite of the Tower Hamlets Wheelers. We think the Ace Cafe is an appropriate place to visit, as we think of ourselves as being bikers. Perhaps we should badge this ride as a ride to "Willesden - Gateway to the North-West".
