Leaving Abbotswood we will head straight up to Awbridge, and continue on rising land until we reach the main Salisbury road where we will turn right and pedal a short distance along it before turning left - back onto country lanes. We will wend our way to Landford and to our stop at The Lavender Farm. We will then start our return ride by going to Nomansland, and on to Penn Common, Furzley, Whinwhistle Road, Ryedown Lane and back to Romsey.

This is a lovely fairly challenging ride with a great coffee stop and a route through the New Forest

We will be riding mainly along quiet country lanes with a few short stretches on main roads where we will ride safely as a group

You will need a roadworthy bike and a helmet. Please ensure your tyres are correctly inflated and you have tyre levers, a spare inner tube and a pump in case of a puncture. You should also bring water and sun cream and a lock for your bike. You can pay for your coffee using either cash or a payment card.
