Starting point

North Yorkshire
YO7 1AD

Millgate car park in Thirsk is our starting point. Car parks are free in Thirsk on Sundays according to Google. After a brief busy town centre we soon head out and up into the hills. Don't worry there's less climbing than the 3 castles ride.

A ride into the howardian hills and the powerful Monks of Yorkshire.

Full road ride through the very scenic howardian hills with mostly narrow country lanes. Hopefully away from busy traffic, but I can't promise.

Both Byland Abbey and Ampleforth Abbey have cafes so we can choose on the day. Otherwise lots of photo opportunities.

Helmets are mandatory on random wheelers rides. Please bring money for cafe and clothing for the conditions of the day.

We never leave anyone behind
