About the route
Starting at the famous Bungalow Cafe on the Roker seafront, this traffic free ride will head for the Souter Lighthouse (National Trust Property) in South Tyneside, following the excellent National Cycle Network Route 1
There will be a stop at Minchellas cafe in Whitburn for refreshments and a chat.
This ride will be at a pace suitable for anyone young and old, including new cyclists.
This ride is your chance to escape the festive mayhem and take few deep breaths of the crisp North Sea air...........
