A temporary break from Christmas!

We'll cycle along quieter roads and pick up NCR 6, passing under Pel Way and picking up a couple of quieter roads and then Daisy field Greenway and eventually the canal path, there will be another quiet road and we'll pick up the canal path again and cycle to the Meccano Bridge....then we'll reverse the route and travel back to Burrs.

A mainly off road out & back ride along the Bury & Bolton Canal to the Meccano Bridge. Why not join us and have a temporary escape from Christmas and the house for a couple of hours?

Mainly off road but there will be a few quieter roads we will need to use for short periods of time.

There's a picnic bench at the bridge and the possibility of a cafe stop when we get back to Burrs. ( The Lamp Post Cafe).

Helmets are a must along with a specific to your bike spare inner tube and a pump if you have one. Please also bring cash/bank card if you fancy a coffee on our return to Burrs.
