Starting point

Lancashire
PR4 5YY

This ride commences at Brickcroft Nature Reserve at Longton. We set off heading northwest and do a loop at Hutton, before hitting the A59 towards Preston. We follow the cycle route, from Howick Cross, crossing the river Ribble into Avenham and Millar parks. We then cross back using the old tramway and head towards Cuerdon Valley park for a café stop. The ride continues through Village park and on towards Worden park. The ride heads on through Ulnes Walton, Croston and Much Hoole before returning to the start point at Brickcroft
We'll ride at a steady pace of 7 -10 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time, (9.45)ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.05
