A ride down the wagonways to Whitley Bay

We will meet at 10.15 at the Mermaid Carpark Blyth opposite Ciccarelli Ice Cream/ Coastline Cafe
Our ride will be down the cycle track and quiet roads to Cullercoats past Whitley Bay where we can always stop for a fish and chip lunch ! Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

All the routes we will be cycling over are a variety of different terrains including roads, quiet roads, cycle paths, shared paths and Bridle paths Therefore, these rides are only suitable for Hybrids , Gravel or Mountain bikes. E-bikes riders are very welcome to join us.


IMPORTANT STUFF….

• You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides.

• Be organised and bring your own items e.g.
- Spare inner tube
- Tyre levers and pump
- Multi tool
- Lock
- Bike lights
- Gloves
- Drink
- Snacks
- Suitable clothing,
- Helmets are recommended, but not mandatory.

• PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY

For any last minute cancellations on the day please text 07801710963 (note this phone is only for the day of the ride) otherwise use the option to cancel when you log in to letsride.co.uk.

If the weather is bad we will only contact you if we are cancelling the ride and will do so no later than 9am on the day by putting a message in the ‘conversation’ tab in the ride. You should receive a notification by email if there is a message. If you have not heard from us we are still riding
