This is a nice’n’ easy couple of loops up to, round and then back down off the moor. It is a mix of gentle and challenging climbs, cycle trails and country roads/lanes and some exhilarating descents to get the blood pumping. You don’t have to be good at all (or even any) aspects of the ride but you will need to give your best to find out what you can do. There will be a refreshment stop in Yelverton at about half way. And then fully refreshed and rested, we will then make our way back by a different route to our original start point. We will be meeting at Coypool Park and Ride which is free all day if you are arriving by vehicle and has toilet facilities available.

There’s no escaping it, this is South Devon, there are hills, ups and downs. This series of rides is aimed at riders looking to expand their experience of local roads and all that this entails. Each ride should take about 3½ to 4 hours (including coffee stop) so we will be looking for an average speed upwards of 10MPH. That said, it’s not about the speed as much as the attitude. Having a go is the most important thing. If it doesn’t work out the first time then it’s a lesson learned and you’ll look to be a bit fitter and stronger next time. We are a friendly bunch and never leave anyone behind so come and join us, looking forward to see you on the ride.

We will stop at the Dartmoor Bakery for a quick coffee and cake stop if it is available given current limitations (there are other option available should there be any problems)

*please make sure you bring with you *fully checked and working bike (hybrid or road e-bikes are welcome) *spare inner tube *pump and tools to remove a tyre *A helmet is a must on this ride. * appropriate clothing for the weather *money for refreshment stop * fully charged working lights (we may stay unexpectedly longer than we think)

We never leave anyone behind
