From Boughrood we take the back road to Glasbury. We then take a flattish, wide gravel track, that runs parallel to the river Wye. This leads on to a rutted but dry bridleway. We rejoin the quiet back road for a few miles until we reach the second section of off-road riding. We cycle through some fields and then gently descend to a dusty track that follows the flow of the river Wye downstream.

We return to Boughrood using a quiet back road, following the downstream flow of the river Wye.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A circular route, using some bridleways and quiet country lanes. This ride will be led at a social pace, with no one left behind. All adult cyclists are welcome.

Mainly quiet country lanes, some flattish gravel, rutted and grassy bridleways.

Plenty of opportunity to stop on-route to catch your breath, have a drink and enjoy the views. Hopefully we’ll stop for a beer at the end of the ride.

Please bring a well-maintained bicycle, wear a helmet, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather. You must carry a spare tube, puncture repair kit and a working pump, also a good set of lights for both the front and rear of your bike.

We’re friendly, we love cycling, laughing and we never leave anyone behind.
