From 1610 head out of the side gate on the cycle path and continue to Kendale Road, using the back roads which will take the ride to the docks and the start of the canal path. The canal paths takes us to The Boat and Anchor and then on to Moorland, and then to Burrow Bridge. A natural resting spot when we get to The King Alfreds Public House. Once rested and watered the route continues opposite the pub towards Westonzoyland, passed the Steam museum which is open on a Sunday. Onward passing a few farms and a dog kennels. A small stretch of main road then back on the back roads and on to the river path leading back to Bridgwater, bring the ride out at the Fire Station then a couple of left turns and we'll find our way to the canal path, and back the way we came.
