Starting from - We'll meet at the free public car park along Shore Road in Lower Gronant. Head down towards Presthaven Sands - the car park is opposite Crofters Pantry. Please note that there is a height barrier in place, so if you use a roof mounted cycle carrier you will need to take your bike off before entering the car park. We'll meet at 10.15am for our safety checks so that we'll be ready to go at 10.30am.

This is a hillier version of the lovely Castles and Cathedrals circular ride to St Asaph, We'll set off from the car park in Lower Gronant and head up Gronant Hill and towards Prestatyn. From here we'll thread our way through Prestatyn Hillside and on to the railway path to Dyserth. We'll soon be on quiet lanes with some fun and interesting ascents and descents. The views along the lane through Cwm are beautiful and we can stop to take photographs. After Cwm we'll head through Rhuallt and make our way to the footbridge over the A55 to then climb the final hill of the ride in to St Asaph. We'll stop here for refreshments at the lovely Flower Pot cafe on the high street. After our pitstop we'll take the riverside and cycle paths to Rhuddlan nature reserve, ride through the reserve and head on to the river Clwyd cycle path in to Rhyl. We'll then make our way to the coast which we'll follow all the way back to Gronant. Please note that there is some climbing on this ride, but it's all achievable.
We never leave anyone behind and welcome all on our rides.
Helmets are mandatory and please remember to bring along a spare inner tube and tools for repairing a puncture. It can be very cold up on the hills and along the coast in autumn so please bring plenty of layers, and also waterproofs in case of showers! It's also advisable to bring lights in case of any delays or poor visibility
