About the route
This ride is for people who are comfortable with the Romsey-based steady rides and who want to try a longer ride. In total this ride is 20 miles - it will be ridden at the usual, leisurely pace.
May 31st is the day of the West Dean village fete - one of the busier local summer fetes with lots of opportunity to buy local crafts, watch events in the arena and eat burgers or tea and cake - or both!
We'll make a full afternoon of it, leaving Romsey at noon to arrive at West Dean about 1.30pm. We'll leave around 3.15-3.30pm to be back in Romsey around 5.30pm.
