A challenging but steady ride to Buckfastleigh

This is a tough and challenging ride (circa 53 miles and 1500 metres of climbing up and down some long and/or steep ascents/descents) which will be cycled at a steady pace to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Starting from Coypool Park & Ride, we'll cycle out through Yelverton, Princetown, Hexworthy, Combestone Tor before dropping into Buckfast Abbey or Buckfastleigh for lunch (circa 30 miles in).
Suitably refreshed, we'll come back via South Brent, Ivybridge to Coypool.

There'll be plenty of opportunities to stop for a breather, snack, photos.
Ride will be steadily paced.

You must wear a helmet, suggest two water bottles and snacks, gels if you need them, spare tubes, lights and appropriate clothing (cooler at Princetown). E-bikes might need a range extender due to the steepness and length of some of the climbs.
