A challenging but steady ride to Buckfastleigh
Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

This is a Challenging ride which will be cycled at a steady pace to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Starting from Coypool Park & Ride, we'll cycle up the track to Yelverton before joining the main road to Princetown. From here, we'll cycle through Hexworthy, Combestone Tor, the top of Holne and down into Buckfastleigh or Buckfast Abbey for a food/drink stop. This is the only planned longer stop and is approx 3.5 hours of riding from Coypool.
Return via South Brent, Ivybridge and back to Coypool.
There'll be plenty of opportunities to stop for a breather, snack, photos.
Timescale allows for 8-10mph average, faster if group dictates.
You must wear a helmet, please bring two water bottles and snacks, gels if you need them, spare tubes and appropriate clothing.
