A Castle View

This is a pleasant ride which is approximately 12 miles in length along quite roads to the south of Penrith.  We will cycle through Brougham, Yanwath, Askham, Lowther Castle, Clifton Dykes and Brougham Castle.  We return to Penrith along more quiet country roads.  There is a choice of two cafe stops on the route.  Either Lowther Castle Tearooms of Abbot Lodge Ice Cream Farm Tearoom.  The choice will be yours. This ride is suitable for everyone and all bike types.  The route is all on good tarmac roads.  We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no-one is left behind.  Our aim is for everyone to enjoy their ride and enjoy the three C'c of a Breeze ride.  Cycling, chat and cake.  Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather.  It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water.  A spare inner tube is also recommended.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet. if you have any questions about this ride then you can e-mail us at [email protected]r see our Facebook page for more information; Breeze Network Eden.
