A 15 mile scenic tour of cycleway and quiet roads to the west of Durham, taking in Brancepeth Castle and the very beautiful St Brandon's Church followed by the wonders of Page Bank Bridge and the joy of the climb up to Tea at Whitworth Hall and then returning via Spennymoor, Tudhoe and Croxdale

A circular route from Broompark to Brancepth Castle and Chapel, returning via Spennymoor and Tudhoe

A mix of quiet unclassified roads and cycleway, there will be some riding through the housing estates of Spennymoor as well!

We will stop for refreshments at the very lovely Belle and Blossom Tea Rooms at Brancepeth Castle https://www.belleandblossom.co.uk/

Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather, it may be cold! Bottles of water and a spare inner tube suitable for your bike. We are also rather partial to jelly babies and energy snacks :)
