This lovely 18.3 mile route heads west out of the heart of the city towards rural peace and quiet. This varied route heads westwards across the south of the city and is mostly on quiet suburban roads. There is some decent climbing as you hit the halfway point, so make sure you have your strong legs on. You return on a short section of the Main A 70 but you are quickly back on leafy residential streets.
