About the route
We will cycle on the Trans Pennine Trail to Carrington and then cycle by road through Flixton to the locks over the Manchester Ship Canal. We will then cycle over the locks to Irlam and pick up the cycle track to Irlam Station where we will stop for refreshments at the 1923 railway themed cafe. Please bring money for your refreshments.
Please ensure your bike is roadworthy and you bring a spare inner tube. Please wear weather appropriate clothing that is bright and visible.
