SN3 4JY

We will depart the Grange Leisure & Community Centre and make our way via roads and cycle paths out to Stanton Fitzwarren, Hannington and onto Fairford via Nell Hill, which is downhill, then along a quiet road to USAF Fairford. We will find a suitable location to watch some of the air show from outside the perimeter fencing (flying times yet to be confirmed). We will be returning via Castle Eaton and then retracing our steps from Hannington to Grange Leisure & Community Centre.
The ride is weather dependent, so please check here on the day of the event.

A steady road ride out to watch part of the Royal International Air Tattoo at USAF Fairford

The route is mainly road based ion quiet country roads. Where possible, some cycle lanes/paths will be used.

There are no cafe stops planned, but we will stop at a suitable location just outside the perimeter of the airbase to watch some of the air show (45-60mins). Riders are requested to carry suitable refreshments for the ride.

All riders are advised to wear helmets (compulsory for children). Riders are requested to bring the appropriate tool to remove their wheels, unless they are the quick release type. It is desirable that riders also bring with them a spare tube and a cycle pump (these are not essential, as your ride leader will be able to assist with punctures).

First-timers welcome!
