9:00am Breeze to Bridlington!

I've finally managed to access the website again! Here are some details re Thursday 16th.
I'm really looking forward to this ride to Bridlington as it's my favourite local route, taking in Walkington, Cherry Burton, South Dalton, Driffield, Nafferton and more lovely villages. I hope you'll enjoy it too!
The distance is 46 miles from Cottingham. I plan to ride there and take the train home. I'm aware that this is an added expense for everyone but I hope you'll feel it's worth it. Please be aware that we'll probably have to split the group when we get the train back. Trains are roughly two an hour so not long to wait if we can't travel together.
For those of you who are driving to Cottingham, I can advise where to park.
Please bring water, snacks for the journey, spare inner tubes, money, suncream and a waterproof.
We'll have a coffee stop in Driffield at Frankie's on River Head. It's a no-frills cafe where you can buy hot drinks and we can sit outside. If we limit our stop to around 25mins, it won't be too difficult to get going again! I've found that if I stop for longer, I feel sluggish when I start pedalling again!
Once we reach Bridlington, we'll head for Richie's cafe on the prom (with the huge apple pie!) where we can sit in the sun, eat ice-cream, paddle or even swim if you fancy it! Please bring food to keep you going on the journey. We'll check the return train times once we're there.
