From Bristol direction continue along Long Ashton Road and take the first turning on the right after the Co-op shop. From Flax Bourton turn onto Long Ashton Road and take first turning on left before the Co-op Shop. This is Keedwell Hill. The Community Centre is situated a short way up on the left (clearly signed). BS41 9DP

This is a ride for those who are okay with a couple of hills and can sustain an average pace of somewhere between 10 - 12 mph for 4 hours of cycling on tarmac. The route sets out from Long Ashton Community Centre - Nailsea - Claverham - Wrington - Burrington Combe (:-) - Charterhouse - Shipham - Churchill - Congresbury - Yatton - Nailsea - LA This route takes in Burrington Combe. It is a good hill climb which usually attracts quite a good feel. It never gets very steep. It is more of a long 2 mile drag, averaging around 5%. It climbs up the picturesque Burrington Combe. We stop for coffee fairly soon after a nice descent at The Lillypool cafe situated near Cheddar - in an area of natural outstanding beauty. http://www.lillypoolcafe.co.uk/ Please bring: * Clothing to cope with the weather (jackets and/or sun cream!) * Enough food / liquid to sustain you for 30 miles * An inner-tube (or two), just in case!
