Pitsford Reservoir Pedal

PLEASE NOTE: PITSFORD CYCLES OFFER BIKE / HELMET HIRE TO BREEZE PARTICIPANTS AT THE DISCOUNTED RATE OF £5. The ride will start from Pitsford Cycles and use the cycling / walking trail to make a circuit of reservoir. At the end we will go to the cafe for a chat, a well-earned drink and maybe even some cake! This is a gentle, traffic-free, sociable ride mostly on reasonably well-surfaced dirt track with a few short stretches of tarmac. The trail is a little stony but it is suitable for hybrid bikes and road bikes with wider tyres, or mountain bikes with thinner tyres.  Children of 10 or over are welcome on the ride if they are competent on their bike and are accompanied by an adult who is also riding (a helmet is compulsory for children). The ride is perfect for beginners or anyone who has not been on a bike for a while. It would be good to bring a drink to have along the way, and some money for the cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one, please do not to worry as you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again, perhaps you could look to buy one then.
