This Glenkens Cycling Group ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

There is a gentle climb to Hidden Road (see map elevation below). There are always an opportunity for a breather to take in the view and photographs. Nobody will be left behind.

This route will take you to Hidden Road, Corsock Road and through Balmacllean onto St John’s Town of Dalry and back to New Galloway.

Tarmac roads, watch for potholes and loose gravel in places, light traffic.

We will be stopping at the Dalry Community Cafe which will be serving hot and cold drinks, soup, bread and homemade cakes. Bring cash. This volunteer cafe is part of the Glenkens Food Month.

Please wear a helmet, bring spare inner tubes and pump and cash for the cafe stop over.
